Salary Base Range $75,000 - $90,000
Job Summary:
The Construction Estimators focus is to prepare a wide range of construction projects estimates from conception through signed contracts. This individual will focus on organizing and overseeing construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner. This individual will be required to fully display Alexander & Bebout’s Core Values - Disciplined, Value Reputation, Do the Right Thing, Proud Team Player and Go Get It. This role will focus on organizational skills, strong communication skills, and timely delivery of estimates to the sales team. Time management skills are critical attributes for this position.
Key Resposibilities:
• Support Design in defining project scope and developing plans and specs
• Prepare project estimate and preliminary schedule and proposal
• Develop and maintain estimating database
• Navigates and understands building codes
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills:
• Basic understanding of drafting and design software
• Construction Estimating Experience
• Cost X software experience
Position Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent related field – 5-years minimum
• Strong understanding and ability to read blueprints
• Experience with commercial / industrial and institutional construction projects • Proficient using Computers, Software systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
